Actuality Media conducts world-wide service learning opportunities for anyone interested in learning more about documentary production. The stories that we tell are focused on changemakers; individuals and organizations who are making a sustainable impact on chronic social and environmental problems in innovative ways. The method we teach is creative nonfiction narratives.

We pride ourselves on our diverse ‘student’ crews. Although many of our crew members are currently enrolled or a recent graduate of a traditional film school, we welcome students from various disciplines, from a variety of careers or who consider themselves life-long learners. Our best films result when the different crew members have multiple perspectives on the issue at hand.
